As is traditional with royal weddings, details surrounding her dress have been kept under wraps.

And its Canadian/Turkish designer Erdem who is the bookies favourite to be Eugenies wedding dress designer.

Ladbrokes have given Erdem odds of 2/1 to be the brains behind the Queens youngest granddaughters bridal gown.

Whatever designer Eugenie goes with, it will have had to have met the Queens approval first.

According to Hello!, the Queens approval of a royal wedding dress before the wedding goes ahead is a tradition.

Its said to be a nice courtesy rather than a necessity, like the way a new Prime Minister has to get the approval of the Queen to form a Government.

The 92-year-old monarch is understood to have also given the go-ahead for Meghan Markles Givenchy gown ahead of her 19 May nuptials to Prince Harry, and Kate Middletons Alexander McQueen design before her 2011 wedding to Prince William.

With less than a month to go till she marries Prince Harry at Windsor Castle on May 19, Meghan Markle would most likely have chosen her wedding dress - though what it looks like is expected to remain a top secret until the last minute. Princess Diana???s 1981 wedding gown, with its puff sleeves, romantic ruffles and dramatic train, defined the ???80s fairytale bridal look. More recently, when Kate Middleton married Prince William in 2011, the long-sleeved lace gown she chose sparked a trend for more covered-up, traditional lace bridal dresses that lasted years. She is not known to have ever disapproved of a wedding dress design presented to her by a future member of her family.

Eugenie reportedly found and fell in love with her bridal frock at the start of the year, previously telling Vogue UK how it was the first decision she made.

Im not telling anyone who is making it, but I can say it is a British-based designer, she said.

[The dress] is the one thing that I was really decisive about. As soon as we announced the wedding, I knew the designer, and the look, straight away. I never thought Id be the one who knew exactly what I like, but Ive been pretty on top of it.

What did Eugenie's mum, Sarah, Duchess of York, wear on her big day?
